Directions to Fall Ball 2010 fields

Amsterdam Fields
Directions to Amsterdam Girls Softball Fields - Shuttleworth Park
From Thruway .
Take Amsterdam Exit off of the Thruway.
Take 30 NORTH.- Stay on 30 thru the city until you come to Walmarts.
Take a RIGHT at Walmarts onto Miami Ave.
Go to the end of Miami Ave (about 1/2 mile) until you run into Midline Rd.
Take a LEFT onto Midline Rd.
Go past the High School entrance on the LEFT.
Take the next RIGHT at Harrower Lane and go to the bottom of the hill.
Take a RIGHT on Pioneer Street and go until you see a single lane bridge about a quarter mile up on the left.
Turn LEFT onto the single lane bridge and go into the park. The fields are in the back

Bethlehem Tomboys Fields
FROM I-787
Travel on I-787 South to the end.
Turn right onto Route 9W.
Continue South on 9W across the bridge over the Normanskill Creek into Bethlehem.
Travel under the Thruway overpass past Stewarts on the right to a fork in the road.
Bear right onto Route 32 (The Delmar Bypass) and travel to the 5th traffic light where Elm Avenue intersects and the 4 lane highway ends.
Continue straight onto the Delmar Bypass Extension, now a 2 lane road for a short distance.
Take the 1st left onto Line Drive and look for the last 2 fields on the right, fields 8 & 9.

FROM ROUTE 85
Follow Route 85 South West from Albany to Slingerlands travelling through the roundabouts at Blessing Road, Mahar Road and Vista Road.
Continue straight through the roundabout where Route 85 intersects New Scotland Road travelling from Route 85 onto Route 140 (Cherry Avenue Ext.)
Travel straight through the traffic light at Kenwood Avenue and again at Delaware Avenue.
As you cross Delaware Avenue, Cherry Avenue turns into Elm Avenue.
Turn right at the next light onto the Delmar Bypass Extension.
Take the 1st left onto Line Drive and look for the last 2 fields on the right, fields 8 & 9.

FROM CROSSGATES MALL
Travel on Western Avenue East under the Northway overpass.
Make an immediate right onto Schoolhouse Road (Route 204).
Travel to the end and turn left onto Krumkill Road.
Bear right staying on Krumkill Rd and then make your 1st right onto Blessing Road.
Travel to the end and turn right onto Route 85 South. Follow direction from Route 85 listed above.

Brunswick Fields
Directions to Brunswick Girls Softball Fields on Route 2
From Northway
Take Exit 7 of the Northway to Route 7 East - Troy
Take Route 7 over the Hudson River (name changes to Hoosick Street in Troy)
Continue on Route 7 up hill to traffic light past a Stewarts on your LEFT - stay on 7.
You will come to another traffic light -at a brick church- take a right (route 278) go about a mile to the end (another Stewarts on the LEFT.)
Take RIGHT onto Route 2- go a short distance - the fields will be on your LEFT.

Classie Lassie Fields
Directions to Classie Lassie Softball Fields
From I-90 East
Take I-90 East to Exit 8
Turn Left onto Route 4 North at the intersection of Routes 4 and 43 (major intersection)
Turn Right at sign for Wynantskill (Just past light for Rensselaer Technology Park)
Turn Right at Light onto Route 136 East (Whiteview Rd) (1.6 miles)
Turn Right at Light onto Route 150 (Hoffmans Car Wash on Right) (1.6 miles)
Turn Right onto Edwards Rd (House - Blue Vinyl and Brick on Right) (0.3 miles)
Turn Right at sign for Fields (0.8 miles)

Cobleskill Fields
NEW LOCATION for games on 9/19/10!
Directions to Cobleskill - Cobleskill/Richmondville HS Fields

From the East
Take I-88 West to Exit 21 (Warnerville), take a right off of the exit, go to the T
and make a left onto Route 7 West. Go approximately 1 mile, the High School is on the right. The fields are behind the school.

From the North
Take Route 30A or Route 30 to Route 7. Make a Right onto Route 7 West and continue on Route 7
through the village of Cobleskill, past SUNY Cobleskill and into Town of Richmondville. Continue approximately 2 miles and the High School is on the right. The fields are behind the school.
or
Take Route 10 South through Sharon Springs towards Cobleskill. There will be a sharp right turn, just past turn make a right onto Warnerville Cut-off. At the end make a right turn onto Route 7 West. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right. The fields are behind the school.

From the West
Take I-88 East to Exit 20 (Richmondville), go to the light and make a Left onto Route 7 East. Continue on Route 7 approximately 1 mile. The High School will be on your left. The fields are behind the school.
Concession Stand will be available all day!!!

From the East
Take Route 88 West to Exit 23 (Schoharie), take a right off of the exit, go to the light
Turn Left onto Route 7 West. Go approximately 4-4.5 miles
Park is on the right just past the Town of Cobleskill Sign.

From the North
Take Route 30A or Route 30 to Route 7
Turn Right onto Route 7 West. Go approximately 4-4.5 miles
Park is on the right just past the Town of Cobleskill Sign.

Colonie Fields - New fields 288 Consaul Rd.
Directions to Colonie Girls Softball Fields
From Northway
Take exit 2W off the Northway
Travel approx. 3.5 mi west on Central Ave (Route 5)
At light take right onto Lisha Kill Rd.(carwash on corner)
At next light take right onto Consaul Rd.
Fields are on your right.

East Greenbush Fields
Directions to East Greenbush Girls Softball Fields
From I-90
Take I 90 East to Exit 9
Take right off exit ramp - south on Route 4.
Go to intersection with Routes. 9 & 20 - take left.
Take right at 2nd light - onto Gilligan Road.
There is a town garage on left - fields are just past it on left.

Mechanicville Fields
Directions to Mechanicville/Stillwater Softball Fields - DeCrecentes Fields
Take the Northway to Exit 9
Go east on Route 146 about 6 miles to the end.
Take Routes 4&32 north into Mechanicville.
At the 4th light the road will come to a "T". You'll see Price Chopper right in front of you.
Take a right and go about 300 ft to the next light.
At this light you will see the fields right across the street..
Take a right at the light and your 1st left into our parking lot.

Miss Shen Fields
Directions to Miss Shen Softball Fields
From Northway
1. Take Exit 9W (NY-146) off the Northway (I-87)
2. Go WEST onto NY-146
3. Turn LEFT onto Vischers Ferry Rd (Past Shenendahowa Schools)
4. Turn LEFT into Clifton Commons - continue past ice arena, softball fields on left in rear of Commons

Queensbury Fields
Directions to Queensbury Fields
From Northway
Take the Northway to Exit 19.
Turn LEFT (WEST) at the top of the ramp onto Aviation Rd (Route 254).
Proceed approximately 1/4 mile to SECOND traffic light.
Turn RIGHT at the light onto the Queensbury School campus.
Follow along this road all the way to the back of the campus.
The fields are just past the 4th and 5th grade building parking lots.

Rotterdam Fields
Directions to Rotterdam Girls Softball Fields, Fort Hunter Park (updated 9/30/09)
From Thruway
East or West - Take Exit 25 then follow directions from I-890

From I-890
From I-890 Exit 9 (Curry Rd) - Take right off ramp and then go straight to Rotary.
Go through rotary at Curry Rd and Hamburg St (straight across to Curry Rd).
Take a LEFT onto Fayette Drive.
Turn LEFT into park.

Saratoga Fields
Directions to Saratoga Miss Girls Softball Fields - Geyser Park
From Northway
Take 87 North to Exit 13 N.
Go North on Route 9 - Take left onto Avenue of the Pines at Saratoga State Park.
Go to end and go straight through light (Cross Route 50) ? This puts you onto Geyser Rd.
Go up hill - Take right onto Cady Hill Blvd. - Geyser Park is on the left.
Caution - try not to park too close to the fields - fly balls tend to hit cars...

South Glens Falls
Directions to Harry J. Betar Jr. Recreational Park (known as Moreau Recreational Park) in the town of Moreau.
From The Northway (I-87)
Take I-87 to Exit 17N.
Head north on Route 9.
Go to first stoplight (Route 197/Reynolds Rd - Hess is on the corner).
Bear right on Route 197. Continue to intersection with Route 32/Gansevoort Road.
Turn left onto Route 32. Continue to a sign on the right for Moreau Recreational Park.
Turn right and follow road into the park. The SGF softball quads are located in the far back (right) of the park

Westland Hills
From the Northway I-87.
Take I-90 exit 1E east(Boston) to Everret Road Exit 5.
At end of ramp take a right and follow to end, Central Avenue.
Take a right on Central Avenue.
Just past McDonalds and the traffic light take a left onto Austain Avenue opposite Bob & Ron's Fish Fry.
Entrance to Park is on left just before stop sign.

From I-787.
Take I-90 Exit west(Buffalo) to Everret Road Exit 5.
At end of ramp take a left to end, Central Avenue.
Take a right on Central Avenue.
Just past McDonalds and the traffic light take a left onto Austain Avenue opposite Bob and Ron's Fish Fry.
Entrance to Park is on left just before stop sign.

~~West~~ ~~Albany~~
Take I-90 to Everett Rd Exit 5.
If traveling East - Take Left at end of exit; If traveling West - Take Right at end of exit
Turn Left onto Exchange Street
1/4 mile on Left is entrance to West Albany Athletic Association.
